I've been working for 3 years since graduation and the first 2 years I worked in aviation consultancy. Mostly doing data/BI analysis but my main title and job was airport planner. I've made a move to the data science team and have been working as a data scientist for just over a year now and I'm only earning £37k.
I want to make a jump to a higher paid data science role but I feel a bit insecure that 2/3yrs of my experience is not in data science.

There’s an amazing opening at EY and I think I might be a great fit. Very similar to what I do now. But I’d applied for a similar role in another office of theirs and got a rejection. It’d be great if someone from EY could refer as I think it would significantly improve my chances.

Has anyone ever gone through a Hudson (third-party) assessment center? If so, what was it like and any tips?

Been lurking here and reading up on salary ranges. Now I am quite sure I was low balled. I already accepted the job offer, initially 65k base for a Manager position, but due to firm-wide salary adjustment this went up to 69k. But still so low.

It's honestly only the offer I got from Big4 UK so was quite pressured to accept too. Any tips/recommendation to renegotiate this? TYIA
