New offer:
Base:120k /Tech Strategy and analytics senior consultant /No sign on bonus
Pros: more base salary/strategy role
Cons: more likely less WLB/more stress/ no 401k matching right away and no ESPP

Hey everyone. I recently excepted a safety position with a software dev. company. The workforce is largely hybrid/remote. I’m having a hard time finding items to address. I’ve been given the opportunity to shape the role but can’t seem to bring value in a way that was easily seen in higher risk professions such as construction. What’s the opinion about teaching at community college or as adjunct professor? I have my CPA license, but not masters. I’ve contemplated going back for a masters to be able to teach at the university level, but it seems like it doesn’t pay well these days.
