Hi ladies - I am in need of some advice please!

Would you take up an offer with a higher title and salary in a new city on a so so brand or stick out your “path to promotion” at your current agency? Was told they would push for my promo to happen in 5 months. Should i bring up this offer to current employer or would that burn bridges?

Don’t think I am ready to move but the title and salary is guaranteed so don’t want to lose out on a golden opportunity ya know?

She is being offered a role as a Senior Financial Analyst with an automotive manufacturer (she has already been with the company for 4 years), and she has 8 years of relevant professional experience and an MBA.

I recently asked my boss for a raise after discussing a yearly review with them. I was told because there was a company wide raise back in December, that would technically be my raise, which was $0.45/hr. I’ve stepped in to a number of roles here and feel I am not being paid adequately after taking on the extra work. I’m wondering how to go about asking for a raise of $2/hr after all this.

Planning on secondment to Sydney at SC level. What are my chances of promotion to M in 2 years? Coming in with 5 years experience and offered 108k. Is this good in terms of the banding?

Staff 4 has been restructured to Senior 1. By that means shouldn’t I have been promoted from staff 4 to senior 2 as I joined at staff 4 in Feb 2020 and my promotion was due?
Even staff 3 peers around me got promoted to senior 1. How is it fair???

Very disappointed . Got a rating of 3 after working my ass off and actually delivering and leading a great project with minimal support.
Though getting a promotion but that’s something everyone gets when due.

Anyone else been told that for non-promotion years to expect an average of 5% raise and an average of 10% raise for promotion years? This is at a Top 25 Midwest accounting firm. Calculated my projected salary for the next 5 years and decided to find another firm. Much happier now 😊

Received an offer for an internal promotion and the verbal offer differed from the written offer. Specifically, the bonus verbalized was 2% higher than the offer letter. HR basically just said ‘sorry, our mistake the letter is right’. What would you do?

Things have been fine at work and I am even expecting to be in line for a promotion this year. What is the cut off date to join the organization in order to be eligible for appraisal in 2022?
