How rough of a life is post MBA MBB? In terms of hours/work life balance

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

I am planning on applying to business school this year in round 1 and round 2. I am in india working at D. I have received an offer to work with another big 4 in London as manager with their consulting team starting June. The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant. Do you think it might hamper my business school application changing jobs so close to round 1? Have been at D for 4 yrs

What’s the maximum number of study hours per day one should expect? Have a habit of hyper focusing but also leads to burning out, what’s the sweet spot where I can say I deserve some daily rest?

Is 30% scholarship for MBA a very good achievement or a very normal one these days?

What time are you studying for GMAT? I am struggling to study in the morning as I am not s morning person. I am however too tired to study after work

To those of you who are planning to apply to MBA: Make sure you choose your recommender CAREFULLY. Really evaluate the person you’re requesting the letter from, their personality, and their relationship with you. You don’t want to be back stabbed like me 🙃

Is a 710 gmat (q44 v42) worth retaking? I’m a Latin American male working at McKinsey, 4.0 gpa from the top university in my country on a full scholarship. Maybe with a lot of effort I could get my score up to a 730, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the time
