Received my first recruiter call, went well and now I have a half hour call with the head of legal. I obviously want to ask about their department to compare to what I am currently doing. I wasn’t planning on jumping ship so soon. Any advice? What questions, if any, are off limits? Can I ask about their team moral? Communication? Delegation of responsibilities? Am I overthinking this??

You should ask about whatever you want. You probably aren't going to actually take this job, so it's all about working on your interview skills.

Anyone know why my wildcards * are not working consistently in sumifs? If I combine multiple sumifs in one formula using + the wildcard only works in some parts. In other parts I need to specify the exact full text which makes my formula lengthier than needed. For example, "app*" isn't picking up "application" and "apple" so I need two separate sumifs to pick up these two.

My current company made it to IPO, and I’m thinking about leaving to join a startup (things are simply too corporate and bureaucratic now - I’m bored, underutilized, and feel like I’ve hit a career growth ceiling). I’m looking at transactional in house roles for hedge funds and a PE style fund. Hedge funds would likely incorporate more general “keep the lights on” work as well. What law firm is your favorite for run of the mill employment issues in the US and internationally (India, Australia, UK, Germany, etc.).
