No harm in asking. If they rescind their offer just because you ask, maybe it wasn’t really a dream job to begin with. In the end, as long as you make enough to get by, I think enjoying what you do is way more important than money. There’s more to life than money. Enjoying your life is priceless. Go for it!
Tell them this. Say you love them and want to accept the offer, but the salary is a lot lower (in terms of base and bonus potential) than your current salary so is there any room for movement in their offer. Put the ball back in their court to figure out how to make the offer more attractive.

No. Smaller firm but growing. Actually spoke with LB not long ago and there was mutual interest but it never worked out.

Lol if it’s 50 to 75k less than your current job…then this job is not your DREAM job…
To an extent. As I mentioned in the original post, culture/atmosphere at current firm is toxic, and that’s being kind. The extra $ isn’t worth the toll on my health, relationships, etc.
