Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

12 months is pretty good and normal. Trying to negotiate that sends a signal that you are only seeking a bridge job and will leave ASAP.
I think it's a policy thats already determined beforehand, so it'd be hard to negotiate. Plus it's only a year, are you not planning to stay a year?
Do you have a good reason for wanting to shorten the time period? Otherwise it might not look great

LOL.
Do yourself a favor and dont come here. We measure service in years and decades, not months. You aren’t going to be remotely happy with our compensation philosophy which is geared to those staying 5+ years
Lol why would you try to negotiate a one year clawback
I'd assume the answer to this is no below the executive level.
If you have debilitating health issues which might cause you to quit, I wouldn't disclose and then just have a conversation with HR before you leave. Otherwise, I'd suggest investing what they give you so you can hopefully make something off of the bonus before you leave.
12 months and monthly clawback is way better than the industry.
It’s a pretty bad look to try and negotiate this- just step back and think about the signal it would be sending
