ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. Ditto here - focus on the strengths of your style... you may be able to change yourself, but I don’t honestly believe it’s possible. Instead Chanel your strengths, acknowledge your weaknesses and find ways to work with them - like catering to the styles of others even if you think it’s wrong. I don’t have a good book to recommend because I fundamentally disagree that people can change.
Read “7 Basic Habits of Highly Successful People"
Look at books on EQ (Emotional Quotient). I disagree with M1, I believe EQ can be learned and improved (unlike IQ).
One view of EQ is breaking it down into awareness and control/influence, and self and others (the four combinations of those pairs), with many sub-skills in each area.
