Grab a partnerships role

Absolutely! That is what I do at Intel and would like to continue in that same vein if possible.

At AWS Associate Account Exec and Lead Development Rep both require 1-2 years experience. Basically SDR/ISR roles. 120k comp 80k base, 20k commission, 40k sign (over 2 years) on 80k in stock (over 4 years). Good roles, easy to hit quota.

Thanks so much for the info! Very helpful, will do some more research on those roles in particular.

What is there to think about? Intel has lagged, lost key people, and it looks like they will be stuck at 14nm until 2022. Meanwhile NVDA has more market cap and is buying ARM while AMD introduces new gaming processors that command a price premium and is diversifying into FPGAs with the Xilinx acquisition.

Ouch hahah. We have no plans to curl up and die at the feet of the competition and succumb to our roadmap disasters, but I will admit these are some overarching levers driving me to evaluate other options.

Ideas for quality protein sources that are easy to make at home and won’t break the bank? I’m getting sick of eggs and chicken breast and I’m lactose intolerant so avoid dairy. I try to avoid lunch meat due to the nitrates and avoid beef jerky due to the high sodium. I hate cooking so no elaborate recipes 😄

Resume gap: My position will be abruptly end in December (was informed this week). However, I won't be interview ready in the next 2 weeks. So how bad does a gap of 1-2 months appear to tech recruiters? Common knowledge is it is a disadvantage to the candidate from a salary negotiation process. I'm also told hiring decisions at places like AWS & GCP take time and it might be a few months before an offer letter is received.

Talk to me about your resume. How many pages is it? Do you provide and overview page and then go into more role detail? I’ve received conflicting advice.

Has anybody worked with NCSoft in the US or Korea? They keep eroding pretty good game titles I used to enjoy.. I plan to exit into Activision Blizzard or EA Sports, and I was wondering if NCSoft’s US subsidiary may be another option to consider.

Gave wife’s phone to kid with garage band app on in guided access mode. Wife took the phone, put it in her bag and left for work. She doesn’t know how to turn it off and can’t even call me without deactivating it. What do you guys think, should I cook her fav dinner or should I book a hotel room and leave before she gets back.
