Ask for a raise?
There’s a long game and a short game here. The long game would go to whoever is responsible for your review/associate compensation process and say “I was a little surprised not to get a raise with my review. I’m not looking to renegotiate that but I would like to know when I am eligible for my next bump, and what I have to do to maximize it. I love it here, but also want to make sure that I’m getting paid fairly for my work.“ The short game would be to go to the same person and say “I was surprised not to be eligible for a raise. I did… and even though I have only been here ___ months, I was hoping to at least get a pro rata increase. Is there any way that might happen?” if I was on the receiving end, I would prefer the first approach because it shows a longer-term perspective in which you say you’re willing to do whatever you need to do to get ahead.
When was/is your performance review? That’s a perfect time to bring it up.
Nothing on the books yet. I’ve asked around and sounds like it won’t be until January
