Hope you better OP! My two cents (4 yoe)... 1) no one is perfect, and you have to be willing to accept mistakes and imperfections in order to become better. Otherwise, you are constantly in fear of “under performing” and the anxiety will eat you alive. Think about this... what’s the worst that can happen if you make a mistake/underperform? (Hint: life moves on and IMO there are better things to occupy your mind than work things) 2) you should talk to a therapist if you need help addressing your fears 3) I hope that you can use your in-between time to unwind!

Those extremely intelligent and experienced professionals think you have what it takes to do the job. They’ve been doing this a long time and know how to filter out the candidates who aren’t qualified. Trust them if you don’t trust yourself yet. :) You have what it takes.

You got this OP. 💪🏻

I relate to this a lot. They wouldn’t have hired you if you weren’t talented :). At the end of the day, what keeps me going is remembering that I have a life outside of work and my self worth isn’t tied to my career

50% of employees are under performers. So there’s a 50% chance the people who hired you are also under performers. You’ll be fine.
