I’m looking for ergonomic office chair recommendations. I’ve have my chair for many years; it’s uncomfortable, bolts are stripped, and most days I might as well stand.
I have a shopping list on Amazon with some top rated chairs and then there’s the Fully Capisco by Hag which I haven’t found on any lists but it sounds like a winner.
Here’s my list https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/X3D7DE01K7QX?ref_=wl_share plus the Capisco. Does anyone have experience with these or other recommendations?
Has anyone taken the CAIA ? Any tips ?

PwC1 makes a valid point
Canada has better scope for IT jobs but Australia has great weather and better wages.. in my opinion Australia is a bit better.. Canada wins for proximity to US and also Canadians are nicer
Yet you guys don’t live in either Canada or Australia. I hate the mentality of hoarding status. Like make up your mind and apply to one. That is what happened to H1B now you see similar things happening with Canadian PR. Ppl are applying with no intentions of ever moving pushing up the CRS score and there are people who are in need who can’t get it. Before anyone comments that I don’t understand I am an international been in the US for over a decade and will need to leave coz of visa issues so I’m on the same boat.
I got my PR already thank you very much. Not playing victim - just stating some trends.
Two points here: firstly the CRS scores have been averaging out ~442 points so its not the ‘hoarders’ as you call it increasing the scores. Second, if you have invested in yourself and have a decent profile what is wrong with seeking options? We all want to at this time, immigrate to a place which gives financial stability, good quality of life and growth options. At the end of the day, we ourselves are responsible for our careers and life.
Deloitte 4, I dont see how the fact that they can't name 5 US states and never heard of the top US universities relevant to this argument. Your other points are valid though. I m a Big 4 transfer from US to Canada.
PwC - This a capitalist economy. Stop being a victim. If you want something, go get it.
Same boat. Received ITA with a score of 462; considered Australia but decided not to pursue because having multiple options is also not always good (can add to the confusion). My reasons for Canada - thinking of it as an extension to US experience. Australia is a whole new ball game; although heard salaries are much better there. Canada definitely will be a significant pay cut ~ 30-40% factoring lower salaries and weaker C$
I thought Australia isn't encouraging immigrants anymore.
You have to do the skills assessment, and validate. I know of couple of people including family who moved there. So debating the move
Whats your CRS score? That would help in judging if you need to apply for Australia
Already received the ITA with CRS score of 463
then you shouldn’t be worried. You are already on path to get PR, if you provided correct information.
Yes, but also looking at the job market and other factors. Would be great to get insights into how Canada and Australia compare in terms of tech consulting and jobs.
Australia has similar process to Canada .. its more expensive and more selective.. and more time consuming.. but def worth it.. I already have 🇨🇦 PR.. was thinking of applying to Australia as well..
Canada and Australia need good people too.. CRS score is high for a reason
Pwc1, I agree the scores might be steadily increasing. But don’t you think it will all crash once Canada realizes not many people are coming to get the PR? Demand and supply...
You don’t have to move for 3 years.. it’s going to be a while before that affects the crs scores
You save with kids education and healthcare in Canada.. but yeah salary is low..
Lol those who think Canada’s proximity to the US is a + then you are wrong big time. COL been blown outta water due to weaker currency and worsened economy. Most Canadians can’t name more than 5 US states and never heard of Columbia university or any top US universities. Source: Big 4 transfer from US to Canada been here more than 2 yrs
