This isn’t even comparable. Every one of these posts adds another data point and informs other posters about the current job market. Keep your saltiness to yourself maybe.
Only comment would be to treat the equity as $0 for your budgeting bc it can be risky if the company fails or take a while before you can actually sell.
As is the case with any job offer, whether the offer is good enough or not is dependent on: 1. Is it what you want to do? 2. Does it provide a growth path for you? 3. Does it take into account your YOE? 4. Is the comp good for YOU ? 5. Is the comp in line with industry ?
It appears you’re seeking answer for no 5. Sorry, can’t help with that answer directly, but it appears acceptable
This feels fine without MBA but would hope high-single to double digit raises (I’ll admit though even as a BA->EM I don’t quite understand the exit landscape). Feels low post MBA
But the equity isn’t liquid, right? If you were to quit in 4 years and there hasn’t been an IPO or another funding round in the meantime what happens to your equity?
Any fishes got views on FIS - have an interview for a Strategy Manager role in the london office. Any feedback on the org, culture, TC, WLB would be appreciated! FIS

Poll for the group: are posts like this or the “at what age did you become a millionaire?” posts worse?

Why are you still a consultant at 5 YoE?
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or don’t believe me. But, yes.

Also if you’re hiring lmk ;)
This is a good offer. Only think you can probably flex is equity. But if you want to get into the startup / tech world this is a great move.

The equity isn’t actually worth $40k/year, right? It’s either worth more or it’s worth zero. Saying $40k/year feels odd.

5 YOE 190 is amazing in startup land

Offer is good. I was interviewing at M level for similar roles. Usually quoted 110-130 with 3 YOE.
5 YOE is often still at the M level it seems, but you made EM pretty young, so Director is fair!
