Anyone have any insight on cbre?
I recently received a job offer for a Consulting position at SAS Institute but my spouse received a job in a different state. His position is less flexible in moving than mine will be. When is an appropriate time to bring up relocation/remote work and how should I approach this situation?
I know that in some fields your time in college or university count as years experience. Example… in Computer Science I have 3 years experience using Java, even though I’m a senior and haven’t been in the industry yet.

Don't let those requirements stand in the way of applying. If you feel your experience speaks for itself and that you're truly qualified for the role, then throw your hat in the ring anyway. A lot of times, employers are willing to train if need be, but you'll never know unless you try.
As a mechanical engineer, one of the best pieces of advice is to learn how to code. It will offer you a lot of doors! Also, start doing some modeling and create a portfolio. Get out of the construction industry. It is not worth it. Not much flexibility, and the pay is always based on the market, not your skills.
I’m not trying to be mean but 30k as a ME is extremely low.if a position says 4-5 years of experience apply anyway even if you don’t meet the credit .Coordinate the job requirements with your resume.
