Not a good look to reject an offer after accepting. That firm may have rejected another promising candidate because you said yes. Having said that, you have to do what’s best for you and your career, so no harm is finding out what Firm 2 has to offer. But I’d think hard about the pros and cons before rejecting Firm 1.

I respectfully declined the interview. It would’ve taken an outrageous offer for me to renege on my acceptance, and I just didn’t see that happening.
