Back to being hopeful! I appreciate the note about it not being “risky” for firms. Very nervous about my career and being pregnant/new mom.
A lot to consider and hard to give advice without knowing how you feel about your career, why you’ve been exploring a change in the first place, etc.
But just wanted to say congratulations!! Fertility can be a long and exhausting journey, happy that yours was short and successful!
I am looking at career change for so many reasons but the final trigger is that GH is cutting benefits, the culture is shifting to a PE mentality, and I am realizing that I no longer work for a progressive firm, like a PwC. The thought of hanging around for the benefits or comfort keeps me up at night. But I know it is a hard decision for where I am at right now.
