Recently i have seen many associates are complaining about work pressure at Infosys. The working environment has gotten worse. People are working 18 hrs per day and even on weekends. Its not specific to a project or vertical. Many of my friends resigned just because of no wlb there. What could be the cause of this? Is it really possible that Infosys will collapse soon. Looking for some expert opinions.

Getting mixed review about Accenture, i definitely need work life balance but also few ppl say its not too tuff in Accenture but few say the work is hectic. But to be honest I really admire Accenture with respect to the culture and consistent growth but don't want to get into hectic situation due to some family issues I've to take care at home.

Does consulting get easier in terms of hours the higher you up due to less time spent on client delivery? I’m starting to get concerned seeing MDs, Partners and Senior Managers working odd hours. I got an offer from Capgemini (Aricent) of 35LPA(32Fixed +3variable) for senior professional 1.
Before interview I had asked for 40 LPA.
But After Hr discussion post interview , I cake down to 35LPA fixed.
Still they offered me 32 fixed +3 variable.
Will they reconsider the offer by any chance, if I talk to to them. If not, then should I join cap gemini?

Please help me to clear my confusion.
