Kind of scared because I am on interview 6 with a company so I feel an offer is near but I’m not sure how to negotiate delaying my start date. Anyone been in this situation or pushed for a later start date between 4-6 weeks at minimum? The job is remote so that helps me.

I was interviewing someone this morning for an admin assistant position on my team.

The only question they asked me was how our org was planning to account for the anticipated inflation (~3-4%) (key word: anticipated). I told the candidate that as of right now that sits with our CFO.

Anyone else get this question? Anyone have a legitimate answer? Also curious if firms are doing things in anticipation of inflation & what that would be. Never really thought of it honestly.

There are companies that sponsor international students and therefore have the option for choosing “will you now or in the future require sponsorship to work”

If someone choses yes for that scenario, why do they ended up not getting an interview and instead get rejected in the process?

I did the same thing because I am an international student and selected that option along with work authorization when I attempted to apply for management consulting firms and still being hit by rejections.
