Bigger pockets website is a better resource than this place

Agree bigger pockets is a better resource than here for those specific questions. For the first question. If you are asking for the tax answer I think you are confused about what a LLC is… An LLC is a legal entity that for tax purposes can be treated as a C Corporation, an S Corporation, or a Partnership. If you are asking if you should do an S Corp vs partnership for tax purposes than the answer is almost always to opt for real estate investments to be placed in a partnership. There are multiple reasons why this is more beneficial.

How are you planning to furnish the place? I have a couple units that I want to rent short term too, and I’ve never done it before (always ‘long term’ tenants rented empty)

I actually have managed some Airbnb’s in my day, dm for questions if you want

CC wise I just use the Lowe’s CC. 10% off everything at Lowe’s, which is helpful if you’re handy

Exit opportunity suggestions for a tax manager? I currently earn $100K, but specialize in small to medium sized businesses in a smaller metro area. With zero experience in audit/internal control/GAAP/SEC/SOX/finance, I don’t see how I could possibly land a six figure position in industry (even remote positions from metros that pay more). With my health off the rails after nearly a decade in public accounting, I’m honestly starting to look even at positions in the $70s. Suggestions welcome.
