Hi folks, I've cleared technical round in EPICOR which is product based company. I've HR/manager round on next week. What salary i may expect from them?

Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Definitely negotiate. Especially with that PTO.
It’s an easy sell since it’s less than what you have now “this is such a generous offer but it’s a little tough for me because of the PTO. This is less than I have now etc and it would feel like I’m going backwards.”
Always negotiate. There are few times you have a clear opportunity to and you should. Worst they do is say no. They’ve extended you an offer so they’re interested in you.
8 days less PTO is a lot. Do you know if your new manager will actually track? Still try to get up since you could always get a new manager or you change roles within company in the future.
If it’s a large to medium firm PTO is written into standard firm policy. A SA can’t negotiate PTO at a Big4 bc it’s policy. Same applies to other firms. Worth trying, but expect the response. Don’t count on the manager looking the other way. Cool if it happens, but too much of a gamble.
Counter their response with a sign on. As it’s been said, 8 days is a lot.
This isn’t true. Firms that offer PTO purchase options for employees are flexible with PTO. I’ve had multiple offers come with standard PTO + 1 additional week
Just know that Big4 vacation policies are generally more lenient than the industry, so may not be much room to negotiate.
See if you like the role and your team, they can make the 8-day difference worth it.
Agreed - the PTO is not a deal breaker for me given the salary increase but I’m going to push for it. Worst case scenario they say no.
Definitely try to negotiate. But also try to learn why the PTO is so low in case you are missing something. Is it because they break out sick vs vacation days? Do they allow you to earn or buy PTO internally somehow, like working overtime?
Sounds like high turnover or old way of biz practices. Moving around is good for the employee (market comp) and firm (new ideas).
Worked for a firm that had old school practices and toxic culture. in the employee manual didn’t pay out unused PTO. Learned that after separation. The culture was exactly like you’d expect.
