Italy because food. And hope you're on this side of the Atlantic, else five days is way too short.
Skip Milan. Completely useless for a family. Good if you looking to get pounded. Visit Venice and Rome if you can
Thanks M1 and IBM1! Any recommendations on which cities to target in this duration?
For Italy, I would say Milan and Florence. In Spain, I would say Madrid and Seville. Rome and Barca are options but would be a little more on the hectic side.
Always skip Milan. Unless you are super into fashion.
I will be in London for a few days and trying to fill my itinerary with 5 open days
I would say Italy is generally more kid friendly.
Turin is relaxing too if that interests you. Good wine in the Piedmont region. Lots of history. I think it would be perfect for family. Spain in Seville is great. Madrid is wonderful too, slightly busier. Rome is good for kids bc it’s memorable. I don’t think you can go wrong
Amalfi coast is answer to all questions
Definitely do Florence. It was mine and my family's favorite. Rome was also great
