Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

What level are you BCG? I regularly get solicited by corporate recruiters and headhunter type folks directly in LinkedIn. Seems to be mass comms targeting post MBA consultants. Up till now have mostly been ignoring, though I did chat with a Google recruiter briefly (didn't proceed to submit a resume though).
I’ve jumped ship twice and my search time for one search was six months and the other was three and a half. So start now.
And just to edit if you wonder, I was being somewhat picky for these job searches. I already had a job so wasn’t under pressure
Been 4 months, I’m not being picky, and it’s been a hard process. I’m also not close to anything.
@BS1I thought Boston Consulting employees are high in demand, easy to find another job. What type of work you do?
Management consulting. I haven’t seen it as easy.
Thanks for the input. Are you sourcing on your own, mainly through recruiters who reach out on LinkedIn, and / or other avenues?
I see why it’s been hard to find a job. Good luck though. @OP try connecting with recruiters on LinkedIn and when applying for a job on a company website, update your resume to match key words from job requirement. All the job board has resume filter
BCG recruiter person, then I have reached out to all recruiters I could find and were recommended. I have never had a recruiter reach out to me on LinkedIn. I apply on internal websites to BCG, through LinkedIn, or listings. But usually get an internal person at company to recommend me and refer- still, I usually don’t get to a phone screen.
+1 for starting now. I’ve been looking about four months.
@BCG it could be heavily dependent on where you live, especially if you are outside a large metro area on the coasts
I have been looking for quite a while but not desperate to find a new job. If you are targeting a new job right after September I would start now
Also - my understanding is that summer tends to be a little slower as the stakeholders involved in the recruitment and interview process can be on vacation, etc. so start soon.
