Between cap hill to Ballard you should be able to find that and may have a couple hundred bucks to spare.
Move to canada
I'd look in areas like Wallingford, Green Lake, Ballard...all relatively affordable areas. Won't find anything as cheap as some parts of Chicago though, it's crazy what you can find in that city compared to other large cities in America.
Can you really find cheap apartments in downtown Chicago? What areas should one look for?
Queen anne has great old apartments with a lot of character and history. It's my favorite neighborhood. Ballard and cap hill are also popular spots. Good luck! I'd check out craigslist for some deals too.
I second Queen Anne for value. We’re in a really large 1 bedroom for $1,550 a month
You should be able to find that. There’s some old buildings in cap hill where you can totally find that.
Ballard is my favorite. You might check to see if there are any Facebook groups with apartment listings or people looking for roommates (if that's an option for you)... good luck!
I loved living at Olympus in Belltown. Great location and amenities in that price range.
Ballard Fremont Cap Hill or Queen Anne depends on your vibe
Columbia City has a lot of new buildings coming up as well. Very nice area not too crowded with alot of restaurants around
You should definitely be able to find something nice for that budget. Ballard, Belltown, and Cap Hill are great neighborhoods. What type of neighborhood are you looking for beside safe? quiet or busy?
