Biarritz in France is a huge spot for surfing with beginner courses, and being right between France and Spain there’s plenty of other activities (the French LOVE sailing, and the countryside has more land-based stuff). Plus great food! I took a course there while on holiday, so can’t speak about a proper “camp”, but I’m sure you’ll find something. As a general rule, the entire Atlantic coast of France, Spain and Portugal is good for surfing, but due to language and climate maybe it’s best to focus on the area around Biarritz, known as Pays Basque.

Question for the group...is my comp low?...MBA from M7, 15 YOE, consulting background, startup and VC experience, working as senior advisor (principal) in large aerospace industrials OEM...comp is $200k ($180k base + $20k bonus). I also probably actually work 20 hours a week because I'm extremely efficient. Performance reviews are stellar. What do you think?
