Budapest is my fav city. Do the following things 1. Goto a spa. Gellert or szechenyi 2. Goto New York cafe. 3. Try goulash 4.fisherman bastion and castle 5. Always walk in city . Very walkable. Don't waste money on taxi 6.danube cruise 7. See the bridges at night . They are pretty. Elizabeth Margaret 8.buda castle

This might sound strange, but order the lemonade. Everywhere we went for food the lemonade was made fresh with lots of different citrus fruits included, and it was delicious.
Stay at the Aria. Amazing! Torture Museum. Heavy but so well done. Baths. General strolling is great in Budapest. Great deals on leather gloves if memory serves.
And try palinka
A1 is spot on, I couldn't recommend Szimpla Kert any higher
The best place to eat is Budapest is 100 Year Old Restaurant. That's literally the name of the place, but it's actually 180 years old.. they just named it 80 years ago.

Ha ha EY2! One of my favorite movies!
Used my Marriott points to stay at boscolo Budapest . Best hotel ever. Worth the points . Highly recommend.
Explore a lot on foot very picturesque place. The market was fun. The subway is really easy and the is no uber so it's worth learning. Food there was excellent!
