I’ve been seeing a lot of videos and ads for the Autonomos Ergo 2 Chair. Believe it’s currently priced at $319, but it’s worth taking a look at.

I've seen that and heard good things. I like the headrest as well

Whatever chair you buy, replace the wheels with office chair 'rollerblade' wheels. Just look it up on Amazon. Life changing.

Just bought used Aeron for $300. I love it!

Local FB marketplace.

Following. Esp one that works on carpet.

Laura Davidson has good eames copies in that price range. Love my Soho. https://www.lauradavidsondirect.com/collections/soho-ribbed

Fashionable but I'm looking for something very adjustable, lumbar support, head rest etc

Go for gaming chair, they are made for long hour shifts.

Literal crap

Are you an average sized person? If you're smaller or larger than average then most chairs will probably still be uncomfortable. I am smaller than average and had to order a chair with a shallower seat and lower to the ground to stop getting sciatic pain.

Never knew chairs cost so much but you’re a consultant so I get it $$$

Good chairs do... I currently am on a $100 chair that I thought was expensive but is not suitable for sitting 9-10 hours a day 5 days a week

It worked when I worked from home once every other week, but now need to upgrade

Has your company gone remote full time? Do you think it will?

Input appreciated! As a second year associate, I have a reasonable 1800 billable requirement and make $70k, but I don’t feel aligned with the firm. I want more WLB and don’t care about making partner. I am considering pivoting to a contracts analyst position (glorified doc review) because it’s 100% remote, same pay, has a 40 hour cap (rather than my current minimum!), flexible hours, and no billables or stress. Would this be a bad idea for my career?

Another Sunday. Another week on a remote project. Feel like I've found myself in a rare situation..

Help! My wife’s company in Boston is not allowing their staff to work from home and in-fact mandating that people come onsite and work from office. Given the spread in the area I am concerned.

Are you a junior-mid level content producer who possesses an entrepreneurial spirit? This is a unique opportunity to join a rockstar team at a “start-up” agency within a well known tech brand. Learn how to make lots of different forms of content in a fast-paced environment. Opening new offices in NYC this spring but all remote for now. DM me if interested or you know someone who is right for this role. Contract to FT opportunity.

Potentially dumb query here: joining a new big agency next week. Just received my laptop but nothing else was provided. Happy to wait til my official onboarding to find out what home office supplies they’ll provide or if I should purchase myself (keyboard, mouse, headphones) but would love any insight if someone’s gone through the process??

Does anyone have recommendations for specific products for an ergonomic desk setup? I currently use a small desk, my laptop, and a travel monitor. My back is starting to hurt so I'm looking for a good keyboard, adjustable monitors, and a good desk (perhaps standing desk). I'm overwhelmed at all the options out there, so any recommendations would be helpful!

Boss just emailed expecting team to work over weekend. Already spent 60h this week staring at screens WFH. Should I just ignore?

Teams on mobile devices makes WFH so much easier. It’s now much more WFW (work from wherever)

I am a first year associate and I work from home. I just found out I am pregnant, maybe 2-3 weeks along. When do i tell the firm? This is my first pregnancy, but still worried about the odds of miscarriage. My boss is a very supportive boss as is and he has young kids of his own so i don’t believe he would be upset. He praises my hard work all the time, but i am very nervous for the firms reaction. I don’t know when to tell them, please let me know your experience and thoughts.

Any recommendations for a compact home office printer that is wireless and easy to maintain?
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone dealt with chronic migraines? I’m pretty young and got used to them growing up. However, about twice a month they come on so strong I either have to WFH or come in late. They last several days and it’s so frustrating. I’m scared my boss/coworkers will start to think it’s literally “all in my head”.

Best motorized standing desk? Looking something under $300, 48 in x 36. Height adjustable close to 4 ft. Looked at tresanti, any other recommendations?

I started usimg a standing desk, and now my calf muscles, ankles and knees are really sore. This is bizarre because I have been running a lot over the past 4 months, and have been an avid hiker and backpacker. Thoughts on why one's leg muscles may not be takimg kindly to justvstanding amd working? Anyone else experience this? Psychological / posture / breaking-in period / deeper issue that requires medical attention?

Been standing a lot with my new standing desk and getting foot pain with the standing. Any home slippers for alleviating the load of Standing all day?

What is your ideal TC ranges for YOE bands when considering at exit.

YOE measured from UG
A: 0 - 2 years
B: 2 - 4 years
C: 5 - 8 years
D: 8 - 10 years
E: 10+

I think this would obviously vary based on experience / exit opportunity but thought it would be a fun little exercise and help benchmark everyone's expectations

Hey guys need some advice - I am interested in Product Manager or Technical Project Manager roles and trying to see if I would be a good fit.
