I liked Ruby Slipper Cafe and Cochon. For beignets, cafe beignet > cafe du monde

Begneits are a waste of stomach real estate, imo. It’s fried dough. Nothing special

Felix’s for oysters, Herbsaint, Dookie Chase, Domilise’s, Cochon, and of course Cafe du Monde for coffee snd beignets

Surf n turf po boy at parkway bakery. Dick and Jennies is a great dinner spot - their fried green tomatoes are amazing. Jack rose has great food and cocktails but can be a bit loud. Erin Rose does an iced irish coffee that’s a great boozy AM drink. I love Mother’s debris biscuit for breakfast

Anyone ever experience intrusive thoughts? My long term significant other does and I’m trying to my best to find a way to understand it better. I’ve never experienced it so it is hard for me :(

I would love to work at Microsoft. Currently hold a TS clearance, 4.5 years in project management, bachelor’s degree in Business. Applied now to hopefully have my resume in the system but would like to stay here at Booz at least until the end of Q1 of 2023. (Applied for a position but was rejected possibly due to being 4 months under the desired experience)

If there are any recommendations I can do on my end from now until then I would love to hear them!

Work in Industry Solutions at @Microsoft. Been here 1.5yrs, in the industry close to 20. Sr. Consultant at Level 64. I just got bumped from 160k to 172k + 39k bonus (UBI + CBI) and 48k in stock awards.

My core skills are Kubernetes, Containers, Advanced Architectures, and Process Optimization (DevOps). I feel like my salary, good as it is, is not up to par with the market. Friend of mine at Google makes close to 190k with much of the same. Thoughts?

Has anyone just been feeling pretty sad and down these past few months? I’ve never really felt this way pre-pandemic but now no matter what I do (workout, talk to friends, yoga) I still feel waves of sadness. I live in a cold city with strict covid lockdowns so I know that that is contributing to my sadness but just wanted to see if anyone else feels like this and how you are coping? I also haven’t traveled or gone on many social outings since last March so Ik that is taking a toll on me as well
