Very nice but it seems very expensive for what you get… comparing a similarly weighted, near-identical aesthetic from a non-branded jeweler is significantly less costly. My recommendation would be to find the style you like, and then hunt for a jeweler who can either make it or order it for you.

Any recommended styles?

Box chain is a good shout.

Anyone have experience using MS Teams chat over Southwest in-flight Wi-Fi? Not planning on being “that person” attending a meeting on a plane, just responding to any MS Teams chats that come my way so I don’t have to take PTO.

3.00 UG gpa (death of a parent, caretaker of the other), 3.95 master GPA both in engineering, 730 GMAT. Have killer ECs, decent WE but not gold. I'm applying to 10 of the T15 in R1, with Cornell as my safety. Should I add more schools that are lower ranked in or just see where I land after R1? Really want to have at least 1 acceptance after R1.

Feeling like consulting isn’t the best career for me b/c of the lifestyle and I met someone who I hate being apart from every wk. But I always wanted to reduce gender gap, so I feel conflicted/guilty.

My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?

Has anyone seen or discussed this Petition for SHRM must support Black Lives Matter & the LGBTQ community? I’ve grown increasingly concerned and disappointed in SHRM’s lack of vocal support for employment protections for LGBTQ+ and black and brown workers, especially as a black woman in HR. It seems like SHRM is overly focused on what is absolutely “legal” and not what is right. I’m of the opinion HR professionals must not only be “legal” but have a relevant and compassionate stance

Any ideas for a more fun or interesting way to revisit classroom rules and procedures when the new semester starts? I don't want to just stand up and lecture these high schoolers. I know they hate it!

My friend became a senior quant in a reputed hedge fund and confidentially mentioned to me that his bonus was >1M this year. Do hedge fund quants really make this much or is it based on individual?

Anyone can recommend a great workout plan/program that‘s doable in limited space (think: hotel room) using bodyweight and/or rubberbands? Used to do Insanity Max 30/ P90X but didnt find a version to download to my phone and it requires a bit more space. Especially now that hotel gyms are still mostly closed due to COVID-19

How do you think a swap from MBB to big4 strategy would be viewed? Currently in a flagship office of an MBB and there is basically no strategy. There are 9 miserable cost outs / transformations / PMOs for every 1 borderline strategy case. The staffing lottery in my region means you almost always end up working 75 hours+ on some god forsaken project. Contrast that to what I hear about big 4 strategy: lower hours and more strategy exposure as the crappy projects go to the other MC departments

Genuine question as I wanted to know is it strange for someone to want to switch to advisory from tax. Would it be difficult for someone to transition from that position? I understand that they are too completely different work but similar fields. Also wanted to know what’s the day to day basis like for advisory during covid and in general

Is it possible to work in tax while only working 40-45 hours per week? I like tax and learning about it, but I cannot keep up with the billable hours and constantly being in busy season.
