Why do H/S dual admits tend to choose S??
Hi Fishes,
I recently joined optum as SSE. I rejected many service based offers which were 1-2 lacs higher than optum, just bcoz I heard optum was bettet than service based "WITCH" companies.
But now i feel i was low balled and I din't even negotiate properly !!
Any suggestions?Wipro HCL Technologies NTT DATA

Another vote for Hypnobirthing. I know Bradley is not for me because if my husband were telling me what to do in labor I would probably tell him to f off.

We really enjoyed hypnobirthing. Very informative and empowering

We really liked the positive birthing company pack - more linked to hypnobirthing. Was quite intrigued by the Bradley method but having just gone through birth - I’m not sure how much husband could do beyond giving water, coaching with positive reinforcement, fanning and back rub, that kind of stuff. There were moments when nothing went according to birth plan and he wasn’t able to be really involved
I’ve been doing GentleBirth app. My doola described it as “hyponobirthing updated with more science.” It has daily recommended exercises depending on where you are in your pregnancy. The exercises include Hypnobirthing, affirmations, mindfulness, and breathing. So far I like it, but the exercises are 30-60 minutes a day, which can be a lot. But for only $13/month I feel like it’s a good deal.
I’m doing Bradley method. The other options didn’t appeal to me and my personality and I like how Bradley classes prepare my husband for how he can be involved and help me during labor, so he’s not just hopelessly watching me. Obviously there’s a lot of things he could do during labor that would piss me off but I can tell him right now that certain things will 100% piss me off and not to do it. There are certainly lots of ways he can help me and the Bradley classes and books help him with ideas. I also have a doula and the doula will be there to help guide my husband on how to best support me during the various times too.
He just can’t get upset when I inevitably snap at him during labor when he does something I don’t like. I think both you and your husband have to be a certain type of person for it to work.
