I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.
Who resigning this week?
Happy layoff hunger games

It depends, are you going for the sights, or to party? Either way, make sure you have a good rain coat.
Also take a canal tour, take a stroll down the red light district area, do a pub crawl and go check out the museums!
Utrecht is beautiful and more genuinely Dutch than Amsterdam—no tourists! Definitely rent a bike and enjoy the Dutch gezelligheid.
Great art museums. Anne Frank House a given. Canal tours are fun. I also enjoyed the Jewish Museum, Sex Museum, coffee houses, pancake places, and the overall city vibe.
In Amsterdam great place to eat Upstairs Pancake House, super small place always a wait, but put your name on the list for a few hours later go to Anne Frank House and enjoy the awesome food and great owner/cook
Go to the Anne Frank House (book in advance!). Also hop on the train and visit Utrecht!
Thanks for the suggestions! What's in Utrecht? Will be actually be working there for a week.
Also check out the town of Delft . And see the Delft factory. Beautiful (and expensive) hand painted pottery with a very long history. For sure a special gift for mom!! The Hague is nearby there as well. Utrecht is a cool University area. Do some research of Trip Advisor. And be prepared for cold and rain in January!
Thanks for the advice, folks! 😊
