1 year old on a cruise? Any tips and tricks? What to bring extra of? What to be mindful of? What did you wish you'd done / brought / known? Baby isn't in daycare yet, just home with us and extended family help. Has gotten his first cold, but nothing else. We take him out weekly and he's very social and adaptable (eats snacks, naps anywhere, formula fed) and loves having new experiences (though at this age everything is new). Cruise life lessons! Why exactly is it so hard for people to understand that ESL and Special Education teachers are in fact that: teachers? I'm bilingual so I constantly get called in to translate for parents in the office as well because it's so hard to get a hold of the district interpreter. Today I was teaching a lesson that took us on a scavenger hunt around the building and the nurse stopped me. "Oh! This is why I couldn't get a hold of you, you're playing!" What? I tilted my head and replied, "I'm TEACHING."
