Thoughts on Business Roundtable saying the purpose of a corporation should be putting shareholders value last, “stakeholders” first. Just lip-service to spend capital on CEO’s pet social projects?
Hi fishes, i have cleared first round for Salesforce strategy. Can anyone of you give advice on what to expect in the coming rounds? Any tips to ace the interview. I really want to get through this

I don’t live with my SO but they have been living in my vacant apartment while I stay with my siblings out of state for quarantine. They normally live with their family, so they wanted a getaway while being closer to their job. Are they obligated to pay at least half of rent, or not at all since I’d be paying rent regardless? Genuinely asking, no wrong answers here
Fave new thing: chatting with older business dudes on the plane and making them vaguely uncomfortable by talking about my husband the way they talk about their wives.
What are some exit opps outside of life sciences? And any prerequisites needed to make the switch?
Wondering if anyone has any advice on trying to overcome trust issues? I’ve been dating someone for 2 months and he’s been cheated on in the past. I think he’s projecting those insecurities onto this relationship and I think he fundamentally doesn’t trust me, even though I’ve never cheated on anyone in my past and I’ve never given him any reason to not trust me. Hey all, recently just got the no after BCG decision round. Is it worth it to try and apply to Bain? Or should I not put myself through the pain again
Can't wait to walk back into work on January 3rd and hand in my notice. It's gonna be better than Christmas!!

Are there any tax planning secrets for people in our industry (or just generally)? About to owe tens of thousands in underpayment on top of all that was withheld last year and I don’t know if there are any strategies I’m missing out in. Incredibly frustrating to make enough to be in this tax bracket but not enough to where you can just shelter all your money from the IRS…
Two weeks off. A full wine rack. And a Netflix subscription. Any suggestions on good shows to watch?
I think there’s a misconception that all junior people who want better comp are ungrateful, and I don’t think that’s true. I come from a poor, blue-collar family. I grew up eating on food stamps. I’m grateful for the salary PA has allowed me to bring home. You’ll never hear me complain about my comp, but I’m going to take every opportunity to earn more and make a better life for me and my family and I have no regrets about leaving a job to do so.
