Hi Fishes I have been interviewing with Microsoft for the role of Product Manager done with 4 rounds.
I got a mail that I'm rejected
I reached out to the HR Team they mentioned, role is on hold along with many other roles
Anyone know how long this freeze is going to be ? people who already cleared most of rounds will be preferred when freeze opens ?
Please guide me as I've put all my Hopes on this role.
Any mass hiring happening for freshers??????
Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

Go for it, they won’t be able to tell unless you give them a reason
Also, re: your question about VP interviews — the more senior you are interviewing with, generally it will be less structured and more like a conversation. I would, at a bare minimum, prepare to explain any part of your resume thoroughly, answer why this firm / why this role questions, and spend the remaining time researching the company and the latest trends in the market. Best of luck
I’ve never interviewed with a VP so what kind of questions should I expect?
So a director role can be wildly different depending on the industry. Some more traditional industries have directors that are pretty high, while in finance for example directors can be two years post-MBA
Should I tell her that I have only 4 years of work ex or go ahead with my call with the VP and see how it goes? I don’t want to make a fool of myself but also don’t want to lose the opportunity
I wish I had a chance like that. Go for it!
I agree with S1, definitely go for it. If nothing else, at least you would have sharpened your interview skills and know how to handle these types of interviews moving forward. Don’t worry about how many years of experience you have, but focus on the depth and breadth of the experience and skills you’ve acquired. Project confidence and do your homework about the org. All the best!
Always take the interview, you never know.
Go for it! Incidentally, there are a lot of really unqualified VPs in industry, luck of the draw I suppose, so don't let years of experience requirement bog you down. Having post graduate degree also adds 2-3 yr experience from HR perspective, if that helps
