Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

I give $50k ranges. Recruiters usually have large ranges for the reqs they have.
It’s a little broad.
Funny, I interviewed someone this week who gave a 20k range and I thought it was a bit odd.
That would be fine, I suppose. It certainly would be a good approach at other firms. Booz doesn’t pay bonuses (with some limited exceptions that don’t apply to your case) and sign on bonus is capped at $10k. So salary is really the only part of comp you can negotiate on here.
You're giving room for negotiating. Try to get 20k worth of increased benefits or sign on in lieu of an offer at the top of your range.
Hopefully your range high end is something that you'd take the job for without too much further negotiating. Anything less gives you a way to improve other parts of the comp.
You can easily negotiate up. Just say the other parts of the package are not where you'd like them to be and need an increase in the offered base, otherwise you can ask for higher target bonus, sign on, etc.

Why would you give a range instead of a minimum acceptable number? Would you turn it down if offer something above the max range?
When I changed industries to move to consulting, I gave a $10k range and somehow received an offer on the high side of that. Honestly I was kind of surprised, but the range I gave was recommended by my referrer.
