Has anyone moved from the Workday consulting world to the customer side? I really do enjoy my job and my company but I'm curious to know why you left consulting and what perks/benefits/work-life balance adjustments have changed.

I get into moments of extreme big law hatred and “I need to get out of here asap” and start applying for positions like crazy during. And it never fails that once a good in house position avails itself to me and I’m very far along/have an offer, things suddenly aren’t “as bad” on the big law side and then I’m left teeter tottering on what to do. Any similar experience? How did you end up choosing one or the other?

Recently accepted an offer to join Deloitte usdc. I applied through my university. However, upon reading all these reviews (here and online). I am definitely second guessing this decision. The compensation is lower than I expected. But I do want to do this as a stepping stone but I also have been in the tech field for 7+plus yrs.

I’m assuming DU is not for USDC employees? Reason I ask is because I remember asking my recruiter about it and it almost seemed like that isn’t something I should know about or ask. I literally had no idea I saw it on their main website at that time.
