Recruiter just informed me that she will move forward with HC before team match; Last week, she mentioned team match will be done first but not sure what changes. Is this a good sign or I am reading too much into it.

Mostly reading into it. Your packet is probably decently strong enough to go in without a team match. There’s also very little no headcount right now and they probably want to get people preapproved. She’s also trying to improve your team match chance as getting HC approved gives you a leg up on team match if you get through it (vs someone who still needs to go through).

Just curious, did you submit a general resume or something? Why would you need a team match? I’m not familiar with Google’s process.

Ahhh thanks for sharing. Hopefully you find a spot soon - I see how that can stressful when you’re so close! 🤞 I’m in the early stages of the process for a specific role, I’m having a good experience so far in terms of response time etc.
