Would you take high risk / high reward consulting gig at a small firm? Comp is hourly and project based. Firm has a good foothold in the niche market. Offers lots of flexibility. But no benefits and since it’s project and hourly based it’s feast or famine. For SaaS and other software subscription service groups. Is it normal to build in an annual increase in the subscription cost? Company I joined recently added to the contracts that they will increase the contract year after year by x%. Not that they might, they will.

As a deaf person, many obstacles in my path that I fought so hard to get past them. For instance, they tried to call my videophone, which has an American Sign Language interpreter to pass messages through a webcam and phone call, and thought it was not me.
