Mid 20s, 3.5 YOE-- been interviewing with roles and firms since October without luck (handful of making it to final interview round but no offer). And I've recently been dropping out of interviews just because I feel the burnout of having done 2-3 interviews a week since Thanksgiving.

When a recruiter tells you the salary range in the first interview, is that firm? Is there typically room to negotiate above this if you're chosen?

(1) I recently interviewed for a senior auditor position at a company and hadn’t heard back from them so I followed up. The recruiter’s response was that I was still being considered for the position but the team had moved forward with other candidates that were better suited due to their experience. The recruiter also said that they enjoyed my interview but the team felt I needed a bit more work experience and that they would reach out if they would like to move forward with me.

I have an on-site final interview round at SpaceX for an analyst role. I will need to present a professional project to a panel of 5 members and will have 4 1:1s with different team members. Hi guys! I had an interview last Saturday with the CEO for an EA role (that was the 3rd interview). The company rushed the process for me because they knew I had another offer. The first 2 interviews went extremely well that’s why they rushed & asked the ceo to interview me on a Sat. morning. Huge common point: The CEO and I are both French. The interview went kinda weird… it was less than 15min. Looked distracted/ not prepared. When I asked him questions he barely elaborated. Comments⬇️
