Recruiter reaches out via email, and I respond fairly quickly. Recruiter decides to *text* me the next day asking for availability for a call. I don't answer and neither does he. Unacceptable & weird?

Seems as if you’re the one who dropped the ball first

Some recruiters do this. They re usually the ones who badly want to send you to client

You didn’t respond so why would he? You’re not the only one that he’s reached out to, and those people might’ve actually responded to him so of course he’d focus his efforts on better leads.

My application status in Infosys is schedule interview and also i got a mail to fill some details like education detail ,notice period and ctc and availability of interview on 25th. But I am not getting any meeting link for interview. so basically how many days before they send meeting invite.

Does anyone have experience with NRI? They're hiring in Singapore, keen to understand fit. Is culture traditional Japanese? Ie hierarchical, staying in office til boss leaves, post work socialising

I rolled off a project 3 months ago. They keep reaching out and asking me to help onboard new teammates to give them historical knowledge (it’s a long-term project). Do I have to keep doing this? Or does it get to a point where I can say I don’t have the time and there must be someone more recent who can help?

Why on earth did I decide to get into IBD AFTER getting my MBA? I really question my decision9making skills sometimes.

Perspectives on Managing Director (newly promoted) base and variable comp across big 4 and equivalent firms looks like these days?

If you are lucky enough to get a delta voucher by giving up your seat on an oversold flight, you can deposit the voucher straight into your back account instead of taking a 6 mo gift card or delta...

Curious to know what everyone's signing bonus is for a consulting job? Either fresh out of college or experience hire? I'll start - college hire, $0

Has anyone successfully made the career move from an HR specialization to an HRBP role? If so, how? I have been working for 7 years in a very niche HR specialization and while I wear many hats on the HR team, I feel like this is hard to express to recruiters or even get an interview for an HRBP role. My niche area has really burnt me out, as it’s very political and I want to expand my horizons. I am already working on completing my GPHR certification. Any other tips?

remote next week and 1 week bench before my next engagement starts. this cant be any better <3

I work on a relatively large team. The AGC I report to will soon be taking a 6 month sabbatical, and I’ve been tapped to temporarily assume their role and responsibilities during this time, including taking on direct reports. Should I look for a (temporary) comp bump, or suck it up and enjoy the resume building opportunities?

I’ve got an offer for a job I think is going to be much more interesting than my current role and significant pay bump. Downside is it’s permanent WFH and I think part of why I’ve got the urge to leave DT is the lack of people connection right now. Worth it?

Prob been asked but how do you best use Bonvoy points. Debating 60k/night in Iceland or saving up for 85k/night Ritz in Caymans (or something like that). Generally what level to spend the points?

Tips on networking? Feel like I’m not doing that right / enough with the travel and family

Just started working with a new client, and they’ve spelled my name wrong in two successive emails. How should I handle?

Food for thought: With so many SMs and PPMDs stuck at home with kids and no help and with so many Staff, Seniors, Consultants, etc on the bench... (cont)
