Interested in PM role at Workday, but leading a functional area on my project going live on 12/31. Functional area has been fully configured and tested with minimal conversion items, but still expected to assist with support activities post-12/31. Would applying at this point of a project be a bad look from Workday’s perspective?
Just got rejected by a one of MBB where I had been interviewing for 4 months including a 9-hour final round onsite interview.. frustrated..anyone knows if there is any frozen period reapply?

I am contemplating a new offer for Validation Lead role (non- managerial) at a Big pharma, with 4 years experience -post masters degree. Suggestions on what the compensation should look like ?
Silly question but if a job posting states “at least 2 years of experience” under basic qualifications and you have 1.5 is it still worth asking someone for a referral/applying? CapOne if it matters

I received an offer for a government job after one interview where only standard questions were asked and there was no time to get to know the team. Is it weird to request another informal interview so that I can get to know who I’d be working with?

I found out that my two male coworkers at my same level make almost 10k more than I do, I was promoted internally and they were hired on externally. Does this make a difference? Should I bring it up to my manager or do I have no grounds?

If a headhunter contacts you about a full-time opportunity, then you see a different freelance opportunity posted at that same agency, is it okay to reach out to the agency directly?
I want to be an HR generalist, but I am afraid I may have to take a step back in order to do so. I’ve been in recruiting and the talent management sector of HR for 5+ years. Now, I want to step into a generalist role, but realize I lack some aspects of experience that I maybe could have gotten as an HR coordinator. Do I need to take a step back/laterally move before becoming a generalist? I have my PHR. Thank you!
Fishes, I am selected as a Senior Associate - Projects in Cognizant. Manager told me there would be 3 people reporting to me.

2) What would be my exact roles and responsibilities?
If your cash comp was temporarily above market, besides obviously aggressively saving, would you do anything in particular with the excess cash? Got a big bump during the “great resignation” but with the looming recession, I’m prepared for the big bump to be only temporary.
Can anyone tell me what is the difference in interview level between Cloud support Engineer 1 and Cloud Support Engineer 2 . Does CSE 2 need prior cloud experience.

Dear recruiters, what do you look for on Linkedin profiles to make you decide to contact people? I’ve done pretty solid work for my level but literally NEVER get contacted by any recruiter. 🤷🏼♂️
What does the job market look like now that Covid has become our reality? Are ad agencies overall still hurting or are they starting to hire again?

What’s the general consensus:
When a company throws up the exact same job post that has appeared before and is still live (and potentially even exists in multiples beyond just two), should this be taken as an indicator that there is more than one opportunity for a given role, or is this essentially the LinkedIn recruitment version of “bump?”
Recruiters! I don’t want to clump you all together but why do recruiters go radio silent on you instead of just telling you they went with someone else? Common courtesy still exist?

CV question; with a longer career that’s had freelance peppered in-between every full-time role, is it better optics to see each freelance parsed out or have it all grouped together like it was its’ own position?

Hello everyone! Does anyone who works at Deloitte know how the referral process works. I’m currently applying and I put that I applied bc of an employee referral, but I wasn’t asked to add a name.
I'm having a difficult time finding gigs that like my design work and my advertising background. I'm told I have too much design or not the right aesthetic they're looking for...
Excluding agencies like W+K, BBDO, Droga..., why do recruiters and CDs ask questions like “what’s your goal as a human in life?” or “how would you change the world?” when they KNOW they just need an average creative, to make more average campaigns for average clients?
Before interviewing for an entry level role at a well known agency, the recruiter mentioned the salary in case it is a non-starter.

I interviewed for a position remotely 3 weeks ago with the 3 partners of an agency at the same time, and it went well. The CFO then took 30 minutes after the initial hour to talk more and she asked that I reach out to her for more questions as well as to let her know when I have relocated as I told them that I am about to move.
After 3 weeks, I sent a follow-up note to the HR contact and no response all last week.
Shall I try contacting the CFO directly since she did ask that I do? Thoughts?
Are there particular times of the year that tend to be better for job hunting? Reason I’m asking, about 6 weeks ago it seemed like there were tons of new job postings. Now it seems to have dried up.
Any advice on how to decline a job offer or withdraw application without burning any bridges? Currently interviewing for a job that has a lot of red flags, I’ve even had a follow-up meeting to get clarification but it didn’t provide much. Everyone has been very nice and I completed a written assignment that took 3 days so I’ve put in the effort but my gut tells me it isn’t right. I’m the final rounds and don’t want to make it feel like I wasted their time. Thanks for any advice!
What’s the deal with off putting recruiters that seem to put you “on the bench” about your career during an initial interview. Didn’t know I was at court...is this a tactic to make you feel bad about
Hi! I’ve had a few recruiters reach out about roles that look very exciting but I’m really worried about leaving my current role before my 401K vests in early summer. I just feel it may be fiscally irresponsible, although I’m ready to leave. Is there a right way to bring this up with recruiters for either a work-around, or so I can keep the relationship going and be on their radar?
