The offer says it expires in two days? So, it's an exploding offer?
If that’s how they act you’re better off going without them
Sorry to hear, what are you going to do?
Had a terrible recruiter... team ended up being mediocre. Might be a sign
There is so much recruiting going on right now. I’m guessing they just move those that have a counter offer to the end of the line. Not the best answer, but they can pick and choose a bit these days.
Update: Sent another email, clarified that missing the deadline is not my fault. I got the call back at the end of day
So how did the counter offer go?
The recruiter didn't like it. But let's see. Haven't heard back yet
I had some interviews with EY. They stood me up 2 separate times in a row with no phone call. I told them how unprofessional it was and they told me they are much to busy for recruiting and I should be thankful. Hahahhahbaabahababahba. Yea I'm thankful I dodged that bullet.
Similar thing happen to me recently at SAP when I was interviewing. I had 4 interviews that day. During each interview their phone rang, with the ringer on 2-5 times during each, at least once during each the call was answered and they were all responding to texts at least a few times.
If that was me doing that with my phone they would have been pissed. I called them out on it, they didn’t like being challenged and I didn’t give a shit
