recruiters ghost answering the question...
There are no recruiters on this bowl. I think there is one other person here. My entire department's accounts were suspended by Fishbowl or something like that. I've posted several times saying this and ultimately it gets tiring and people don't go through the bowl's history (and I get that)
The job is intense and endless. There's a huge difference between a staffing agency and actual or in-house recruiters.
If you ask more specifically I'm happy to answer from my experience. The job is far more intricate than people realize and can also be overwhelming with many internal demands and hiring managers egos to balance and chase after, just like with clients.
Fun fact: candidates ghost ALL THE TIME!! Go dark after exchanging email and feigning interest; don't show up for interviews; don't show up for their first day. People also will tell you the darnest things during screenings it never stops to amaze and can sometimes be hilarious. The absolute best part is talking with candidates and getting to match them with the right opportunities. It's very rewarding when it works out and some are very thankful which makes up for the arrogant ones.
Thanks for this
