Best way to word a counter offer with a slight salary increase? I’d just like to round up to 80k, this would only be less than 10% more than the initial offer so nothing crazy. Do I need to make a case for the increase or can I just say I’d be more comfortable at 80k?
Tax counsel jobs seem to be rare, compared to the more common tax senior analyst/manager/director roles. Anyone have any insight into compensation and whether companies put a premium on JDs? Looking at HCOL areas for 5-8 yrs of exp and want to understand reasonable salary bands.

Hi, would like to get your feedback and guidance. Within the brokerage industry we see a lot of people holding titles of AVP, VP, SVP and EVP. Can someone help me understand the criteria for each and if there is a salary range? Where do you think an individual with a B.S in a technical field, a M.S, licensed broker and with 18 years of combined experience in underwriting, risk management and brokerage should be at if working for a global broker?

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.
My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.
Whats the minimum salary you think you'd need to support your current lifestyle? Feel like I am constantly chasing the 💰 and am going to burn out soon
Team i am working in Deloitte USI bangalore having 6.5yrs of exp in cybersecurity . Got an offer in Pwc ac Kolkata but in bangalore office . They are offering decent hike 48% and manager role . Seeing so many bad reviews a bit concerned now !! Should I go ahead or not ?
Looking 2 move into industry but most stats on this forum are 4 USD. Directors/partners in the US make 300K-1M - ones here probably make 200K-500K. What salary range is good for senior industry roles.

Interviewed with a growth equity firm 2/3 weeks ago and haven’t heard back (they said you would hear back in a week and half) - does this mean a rejection?

Best ad agencies to start as a creative?
Short-term goals = to learn from talented creatives and work for a shop with good culture
Long-term goal = writing super bowl ads, winning lions, etc.
Partner I work for I think is attracted to me. I’ve always maybe sensed it but then last week we were at a training and he would always look towards me and smile and they’d be long held smiles, and then would always try and sit next to me or across from me. And then when he didn’t he’d move his chair out a little so he could look at me. Then when he was leaving he came up behind and touched (not just tap) my shoulder to say good by.
Maybe it’s all in my head, but if not, what should I do?

Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be extroverted to be a good recruiter. I've had great success in agency and corporate recruiting and I'm introverted leaning.
Currently recruiting for a trucking company. I have been told a few times that my experience there for the last year isn't what companies want to hire for a professional recruiter...

Good Day to all,
Would like to know how recruiters get compensated? I am asking because it seems a lot of (not all) the recruiters especially the once from India are trying to get me at a lower salary then is actually being offered by the companies they are representing.
I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.
Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.
Salary question: Starting to think I’m getting underpaid as I am seeing some high salaries out there and curious to know what others in recruitment are making. Currently, recruiting manager (team of 5) 100% remote for a RPO, 8+ years experience in staffing in multiple areas (MSP, HRG, Branch Manager - agency) with international experience. Education: BA & CIPD HR Management Diploma (SHRM equivalent in the UK). Living in Chicago. Salary $70k 10% bonus, been told being bumped to $80k 12% bonus.
Does anyone have experience with either Eightfold or Phenom CRMs? We have narrowed it down to these two but would love your insights. Thumbs up or down and why. Thank you!!
Is $23/hr as a recruiting coordinator with Amazon (contract) a normal rate? I’m from California!
Hi all, I am looking for some advise, I am looking to get out of recruiting. I have an MBA and got my scrum master certification. I am interested in non technical management positions. Since most of my experience has been recruiting, all I seem to get calls for are recruiting positions. I have applied to project manager position and tried to fix my resume to the job. Please help and thank you
I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?
Any other tech recruiters feel this right now? 😩
My company is looking for mid-level contract recruiters to do mostly direct sourcing and candidate engagement. Potential to go perm. If you’ve done a mix of tech, finance and searching for direct hire management consulting talent that’s even better. Remote position. Must like cold calling. $35-$40/hr
I currently work at the Big 4, considering recruiting as an exit opp and been approached by a few agencies. Can someone please give me a brutally honest opinion of their work life (both pros and cons) and how much base salary I should negotiate starting out? (Middle to high ish cost of living)
