Recs for a used car around 15k? Looking for something reliable and with a spacious driver's seat (bf is 6'2"). Currently looking at 2015 Toyota RAV4 - any others to consider?

Nissan Altima Honda CR-V Toyota RAV4 In that order. Test drive that Nissan if you're open to a sedan.

I paid $14k for a used Acura ILX. It's a small car, but plenty of legroom, headroom, and shoulder room. I am 6'1", 250 lbs, and it has plenty of room. Fun to drive, too!

If you're gonna throw in sedans, check out the Honda Accord - def better than the Altima. My wife has the Altima, I've got the Accord and she usually ends up driving my car when I'm travelling The Accord's spacious too, one of the cars with the most interior room in its class

PSA: 15K is apparently the magic number for better interest rates on auto loans, btw. Below that you get crappy rates.

Bought a Volkswagen jetta '14 SE for ~14k. Runs better than most cars in this price range, and are cheaper of late due to the dieselgate scandal.

BCG1's list is good. I always discount the Altima because I have driven it as a rental a million times and am sick of it! But it's a pretty good car overall. In addition to the Honda CR-V, look for an Acura RDX. Basically the same vehicle, but Acuras (and other luxury vehicles) get traded in more frequently, so there are good deals to be found on late model, low mileage vehicles.
