Doesn’t the last paragraph conflict with ur prediction? “Often times, options traders look for options with high levels of implied volatility to sell premium. This is a strategy many seasoned traders use because it captures decay. At expiration, the hope for these traders is that the underlying stock does not move as much as originally expected.”

I hope tomorrow is a better day. Because I’m getting killed right now

Honest question. Why are all of EY’s Visa and Immigration contacts absolute trash? No regard for the stress we experience. If I get another out of office response, I’m going to jump out of the window

What should I say/do? On Friday afternoon my boss asked me to join a meeting (on zoom). I didn’t understand a thing, but he would fill me the details later. After the meeting we continue to do other works (seperadly, with other people) and I completely forgot to talk with him about that case. Sunday night I received a message “FYI, you vanished, so I did it myself” with the documents attached. I honestly forgot about it. Yes, he could have talked to me, but was supposed to talk to him either. 😞

Smart people who know about technology: 🙏🏼 I want to get 11.5-14 inch monitor to add to my (1) laptop and (2) second monitor. I’m worried about the monitor having a high “processor” and slowing down all my programs (including the program I use to login to my office desktop). Can someone point me to a monitor that may work?

Some of these posts are ridiculous. They’re like just exited consulting to FAANG/Niche Startup with $150k base and $400k TC with 6 months of experience, you can do it too! Then they ghost or explain that they are a former SWE 😬 coming from MBB. Going to some super Niche role that people with crazy backgrounds are recruited for. Congrats, but not everyone has that background

Is anyone else having this issue? Since COVID in June, I have had so many unemployment requests that are fraudulent. We report to our state, and I am getting requests for employees that had no change in pay/hours (white collared* workers) that when I ask if they filed the answer is always no. Last week, I had an executive that had a false claim.

How do your companies recognize technical (e.g., STEM) accomplishments? I’ve heard of old school things like fellowships and “Distinguished Engineer” titles. Wondering what other places do now. I’m struggling to see where my path leads if I don’t want to be a people manager and instead focus on becoming a top technical IC instead. Are there clear paths for that anymore?
