What is the typical salary for a consultant at guidehouse? Anyone know? Had a friend joining with a few years of experience and is worried they lowballed him in the offer.
So confused by PR agency salaries mapping to titles as some agencies seem to consider MS/Dir equal and MD/VP as equal. In SF, what would be the appropriate salary ranges for Dir vs MD vs VP?
Is it PC to ask my supervisor what the salary range is for my current position? I don't want to leave because of money.
Is anyone familiar with the salary + bonus expectations for corporate strategy associate (w 5 yrs exp) at a large asset management firm?
Why is it the comp for a person living in LA always less ( based on my analysis a min of 25-35% variance) than Bay Area .. it is frustrating that I live in OC and could make more if I just moved..
Don’t let yesterday‘s news disappear from this feed. If we had a union, it would never allow agencies to instill these salary cuts, furloughs, and layoffs without a clear plan for reinstatement
Got job offer from EY - SM Financial advisory, NYC Office Offer is $165k base. Currently M at Deloitte with promotion year to SM in 2018. Current salary $155k. Only $10k bump plus one designation up.
Working on a potential offer to join leadership team of 3 co-founders as essentially the CEO-1 for 2 tech delivery firms of <50 people. They've asked me to outline an OTE based in base salary and % of revenue, haven't really negotiated this before, any insights in how to decide my ask?
Does Accenture federal offer a bonus for getting PMP? Deloitte advisory offers $3k. Taking the test soon, so trying to figure out if I should push back the proposed start date or not.
Currently in industry. Got an offer to go back into public for a 10,000 raise. Current employer offered raise of 5,000 plus an already promised bonus to equal the 10,000. So it is now a lateral...
3rd year at a big firm, within Vault top 60, but in a smaller market with a very high cost of living (I don’t want to say where because it’s identifying). Starting salary is 110k, with 5k raises for each promotion level and bonuses are small, which is on par with market (maybe slightly under). The wrinkle: bigger-market partners farm out work to us at higher rates. Is it unfair US associates are paid differently but we all do the same work? Should I just move to a bigger market?
What’s the salary band for a group strategy director in NYC? General guesses welcome, experience aside.
I’m about 3 months away from making senior and am seriously considering leaving. Is it true that title doesn’t mean as much as compensation in industry? That’s what recruiters say but they are biased
Which of the big 4 has the best compensation? What I have heard is Deloitte has lowest base but highest bonus, EY has the highest base but lowest bonus, PwC is 2nd in base and bonus.
How many of y’all have access to online meeting software and which ones? Do you plan on using these more during the Coronavirus scare? To be clear: I’m not scared, just wondering how folks will adapt.
Does anyone know what day(s) we have off for July 4th? Not sure if the new holiday schedule has been released yet
Anyone knows if consultants in the UK are getting a bonus this year as mentioned last year? I haven't heard anyone talking about it in the past few months, so I guess leadership changed their mind?
Is it possible to negotiate a different comp structure? Like for example, less guaranteed base, more performance bonus? Or is your best bet to leave to a boutique/go independent?
Is it possible to get into a top mba program as someone with two years of audit experience if I get a high gmat?
Female 🐠, how many of you all are comfortable wearing a thong 👙 at the beach or at a pool party? A woman I was seeing asked me to help pick out a swimsuit for her but was appalled when I suggested a thong. This was pre Covid of course.
Best cup to start weening off bottle? Tried the Nuk but baby doesn’t seem to like it. Can hold the handles and tilt but just chews on the nipple. Any recommendations welcomed! Thanks, moms!
Really wanna crack vc, have deals experience. What skills do they need? Beyond heavy networking and other things. Want to build my skill set before thinking of applying.
So bummed - had first round interview w/ BCG and just received an email that I didn't make the cut. I thought it went really well and the note came as a surprise. How do you get over this and move on?
Are 20-minute interviews with recruiters common? Or is it just something they do out of professional courtesy?
So I am a CFE and I recently switched to a new organization that doesn’t provide CPE trainings regularly each year like my old firm. CFE requires 20 CPEs per year plus a membership fee & I don’t think
Already dreading work and waiting for the next weekend. Hate this remote project. Always worried about ratings/utilization/etc. probably not a good sign as a new (>6 month) hire.
