which firms offer fully remote positions?
I’m renegotiating my current pay package and I think we will get to a good compromise on total package if I get the right perks. What kind of perks have people been seeing lately? I’m Senior Counsel and have basic perks like remote work, cellphone, subscriptions etc. I’m particularly interested in childcare perks.
What’s everyone wearing today? I’ve been wfh for so long, I needed to capture my first day back in the office.
Anxiety for WFH when I really am ill 🤒
Anyone using remote marketing consultants for social media seminar promotions or creating online content?
Looking for an affordable photo retoucher for a shoot. Can work remote. Please drop names if you know anyone who has quality work examples.
I was told by HR that Pune office for GDS is under construction, and our WFH may continue longer than other GDS facilities. The offer letter contains joining location as Mumbai GDS facility, however onboarding will be done virtually. Anyone else facing the same?
I'm a new hire. My counselor is nice, and we seem to get along fine, but they were an experienced hire and in two months I've yet to meet them in person. On Fridays they will work from home. Con't...
Clinically depressed (functioning) and in mourning over the loss of a family member. If not for wfh, I would have had to take a sabbatical. Wild to think that the performative-but-not-performance stuff (am I cute and polished in the office at 8.45am on the dot?) could dictate our trajectories in the before times. Grateful for the executional focus of wfh that allows me to be a crying unshowered mess between mtgs without damaging my career.
Looking to move to LA region with SAH wife and 6mo old. Ill mostly work remote. Looking for a nice yuppie neighborhood and willing to pay up to 3.5k rent for a 3bd. Where should I consider?
I’m looking for 100% remote-only (if possible) cloud , Azure/AWS or even DevOps opportunities. I have 5 valid AWS certs, 3 Azure certifications, 7 years of both AWS and Azure experience + some DevOps and prior SAP experience. Email : Deji.Azure@gmail.com
I am a 26M and my job is 100% remote going forward. I want to move to NYC from LA (always wanted to make the move) and I’ve always lived in LA, but have been to NYC many times, so I am fairly familiar with it. Have a couple friends there, but if I were to make the move I’m worried it would be tough to make friends and have a life outside of working from home. Not too interested in changing to a job based in NYC now, but open to it later. Any advice/tips? Anyone do something similar? Regrets?
WFH today and answered a conference call while taking a shit. Accidentally had the video on.
All clients need to explain conference call etiquette when WFH to their employees. So far I’ve heard people washing dishes, talking to their spouse and kids, making lunch, and playing with pets...
Are you spending more or less than you were pre-lockdown/stay-at-home? I feel like most people are saying they’re spending less, but I’m definitely spending more on food delivery, groceries, home goods, and an ergonomic WFH set up. 😥

Just heard that we will be switching from remote learning to "blended learning" as opposed to "hybrid learning". What's the difference?
Been with my bf for 10 months. Been on a work from home role for over a year. Mentioned to him that I want to travel for my next role. He was not happy. How do I balance my career and relationship?
So you are interested in collaborating? I have been teaching Avid since 2006-ish. Any suggestions on how to transition to distance learning on Microsoft Teams? How does that look in Avid?
Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. I feel like I spend every week counting down to the weekend which kinda sucks.
I have roughly 1.5 YOE at a top 10 firm, half in audit half in TAS, no CPA. I’ve applied to and received referrals for pretty much all big 4 and other 10 firms. For the ones who gave me a phone screen or first round interview, I was told they’d like me to have more YOE before considering me. Yet I see folks on here with 1.5 YOE in just audit getting senior roles in TAS at these same firms. I believe I’m personable and decent at interviewing. Any ideas on why I’m not getting any offers?
Do you all separate positions within a firm on your resume? Is it okay to just lump everything together and only put your current position?
Is it me or their Deloitte friends not taking this entire Covid thing seriously in their private lives? I keep on getting invited to these private Deloitte employee friend groups organized parties where the people seem to be rather careless about the entire getting tested and quarantining business.
At the mere age of 29, I have managed to get a full 1,000 ❤️ s on fishbowl. Who needs to brag about salary or wealth when you have 🐟 ❤️? 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Accenture bench is deeeeep. Especially strategy.
(Not that it matters for the time being, but...) What are people’s preferred airlines? I mostly fly United but may switch to American since I moved closer to a hub. Thoughts?
Would love to speak with anyone who made an exit from consulting shortly after reaching M. How did you think about the following? 1. What functional roles will you actually be good fit for? How does one really know? My resume of case work just confuses me tbh 2. What level should you / did you shoot for? Is AD a realistic goal? 3. What platform did you use to search for jobs? LinkedIn? 3. How did you shortlist your set of target companies? 4. How did you ultimately land the "right" job?
Has anyone made the move to Uber, specifically the operations and logistics manager position? Received and offer with less salary (but decent equity) and trying to weigh options and lifestyle.
Does anyone remember the “nudge” on MSN that used to shake up the screen? Wish we could do the same with Slack or emails 😂
Is it worth moving to Oliver Wyman from Accenture? Move is at the associate level. Base is 130K and potentially higher bonus (25k average estimate). But already at 127K at Accenture at the consultant level and up for promotion this year to push to $150 to 160k base.
Baby attorney here. Does anyone have good resources or guides they can recommend for probate and family cases in Texas?
Is it worth pursuing the Specialist consultant track at McKinsey? A recruiter reached out to me regarding a role in healthcare. Currently have 5 YOE, no MBA, am a SC at D.
Are any health insurance companies giving dividends? Surely, they had fewer claims than normal in recent months?
