Rents in Atlanta seem absurdly high compared to last year. Hoping to live in a 1 bed apartment in midtown but not seeing anything decent under $2300. Any suggestions? Hoping to spend $2k or less if possible.

I’ve been working as a contractor for 3 years renewed 6 times and they’ve been promising me a promotion to be hired full time for a while now without a raise.
