Hey everyone, I am a young M professional looking for a roommate in a 2 bd/2 ba condo in the Morningside area, starting this April. It is located right next to Piedmont Park, and close to all of the big popular areas (Emory campus, Midtown, ViHa, Buckhead).
Rate for the bedroom is $900/month, furnished and utilities included. There will be one parking spot available for a car. The community is nice and not noisy. If anyone is interested and wants more info, please DM me!
Rent prices drop in November and December in Midtown. My unit was $2500, but I moved in December 2021 and saved about $250. Also, the studio floor plan will be cheaper than the 1 bedroom.
Thank you!
if you look at Tens on West, it’s a 1b/1b for ~1900. i had the same problem looking, one tip is to keep being on the lookout at specific apartment complexes floorplans to see if there are any new additions-one leasing agent said to look on wednesdays because that is when the market changes. someone also commented apartments in Home Park/West Midtown and some of them are cheaper & bigger there.
Home park
There's many neighborhoods other than midtown
Rent sucks but with $2300 you should be able to find something easily. Look at south midtown. Our renewal rate was $1600 here for 1 bedroom for mid-rise ok building.

Have you thought about buying at all? Mortgages cost just as much as rent plus you build equity! Message me if you wanna talk more about this!
I’m partnered with a few rent to own companies or buying that same unit may be cheaper. Let me know if you want to know more.
