Hey all! I majored in journalism and spent a couple years as a reporter before pivoting into PR/comms. I’ve been in this career for almost 5 years now, but have been at smaller orgs with little grasp of comms/PR the whole time. I’ve had some successes, but no real mentoring. It’s mostly been me playing around with trial and error. I could use tips on getting noticed by more comms savvy companies where I could really learn the trade.

Pursuing new Finance opps at Director level and above. Have not had much experience with 3-statement financial model in more recent roles but have had done it in investment banking about 10 years ago. I see many startup roles require experience in it and some even mention extensive experience.
