I got an job confirmation offer mail with salary structure from an mnc organiztion but not the actual offer letter, the HR is saying that HR head is on vacation so they will release the offer letter in two weeks.

But they are asking me to give resign based on the mail that I received.

Is it ok ? to resign based on the mail confirmation or should I wait for the offer letter to be released.?

Please help me out in this.

lam about to join a new org in a few days and they have planned a travel to Europe for me to get Technical KT. But the thing is they said only for 2 weeks. They are going to file a business visa(l can stay up to 90 days). I want to spend some more time there( atleast 2 months). How I can convince them to increase this duration?
Since I will be new there l'm not sure what to say. Only thing I know at this time is, the project is a bit complex and all developers are outside India.

I don’t feel it came off desperate like I need to get this job, but rather in a “I’m really excited about this company and role” kind of way.

I’m a solar electrician at sunrun. I focus mainly on energy storage systems such as Tesla batteries. Currently making 93k a year with Lots of OT that push me into 150k a year. High stress job and high reward. At 31, I feel I could keep up with the long hours but I know eventually it will have to stop as it’s not sustainable long term. Hello! I’m looking to do a pivot from program management/ops at a non profit to project management (ideally tech). I have my CAPM cert but I don’t think my current role gives me actual PM experience. With people I’ve talked to they say tech companies want PMs with tech backgrounds. Entry level/associate roles seem far and few between in my research.

Anyone have tips on what I can learn to get me toward a PM role in tech? I want to look into Scrum, Agile, Lean. Anything else?

I've done my post-graduation in management from a tier 2 B-school (IMT, TAPMI, IMI, KJSOM and the like). Majored in marketing with some operations subjects. I'm currently working as a research analyst for about 1.5 years supporting mostly consulting work in the health and life sciences industry.

I am looking to move out of this industry into a more direct industry-oriented role rather than currently (which is like looking into the industry from the outside).
