Looks like the state offers a non-emergency medical transport program. And even though it’s not a VA appointment, I’d contact his VA care coordinator to see if they have any suggestions - I can’t imagine this is their first time this has occurred.

There’s several Facebook groups that help support veterans by asking other veterans to help out with rides, meals, housing, etc. It’s veterans helping veterans all across the nation. I’m a veteran as well and have followed the group for a while now. They have done so many really great things. DM me for more info.

Hey guys... i have a question. I live in California and my apartment complex is pet friendly and they require a $500 pet deposit but I read that if I make my new pet an ESA (emotional support dog) that the deposit is waived. Is this true? Where would I get an ESA certificate? And does the leasing office have any defenses against me presenting an ESA certificate? Like minimizing my emotional disability or asking for physician proof of the emotional disability? Just trying to have my understanding straight before I put my leasing office on notice that I want a dog.

I wanna be courteous. But I’m not sure how to read this or how to clarify it without risking embarrassment either way???

Do we know if there is a sponsoring partner that oversees this benefit/ program that I could have more of a heart to heart conversation with? Not getting too far with the general email box and admin contact. However, anything related to IVF or medical procedures has to go through insurance (also limited to $50k lifetime benefit). Continued…

How long to wait before letting a nanny go back to work after covid? Our nanny started feeling sick around 9 days ago. She tested positive 8 days ago. Her symptoms have been very mild (just a cough and a runny nose) and she’s been essentially symptom-free for the past 48 hours. However, I had her take a rapid test just now and she is still testing positive. My husband and I both work full time from home and it would be ideal to have her come to work tomorrow. WWYD?? Thanks fishes!
